A Bit About DSquared2

Launched as a men's collection in 1994 -95, DSquared2 was founded by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, born in 1964 in Toronto, which is a recurring theme in their designs. These two amazing Canadian designers really made their mark in 2000 when Madonna commissioned them to design her wardrobe for the Drowned World Tour and Dont' Tell Me video.

Very rock and roll and not afraid to take risks, the Caten brothers are known for their over the top fashion shows (worth Googling) and collaborations with celebrities and musicians like Drake, Kanye West and Rihanna.

Dean and Dan have spoken frankly about growing up in Toronto and their early childhood experiences in foster care with abuse, and bullying, and have worked with, and designed for, anti-bullying foundations such as the Be Cool Be Nice Movement. Very Canadian!
